Job purpose
The Fulfillment Team Member position serves an essential role in the customer service experience at Applejack Wine & Spirits by fulfilling all delivery orders accurately and on time. The Fulfillment Team Member must also accurately obtain, fulfill, and process customer orders made in advance for a pre-determined pick-up date and time.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Address customer needs at the time of delivery.
  • Consistently provide exemplary and superior customer service to all customers.
  • Generate and fulfill (pick) orders placed as curbside, delivery, and shipping using NetSuite ERP software operating system.
  • Responsible for fulfilling curbside, delivery, and shipping orders generated through several points of sale: online via Applejack.com or Applejack department-specific email addresses, telephone calls forwarded from any staff member, in-store foot traffic, etc.
  • Accurately and efficiently retrieve and pack all requested items for each curbside order before the customers' chosen pick-up or delivery date.
  • Communicate with the Fulfillment Team to order products listed as out of stock or in quantity beyond.
  • Prepare orders in an organized and easily accessible, designated area.
  • Establish baseline relationships with regular and new customers to grow the Fulfillment department.

Fulfill Delivery Orders
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
  • Accurately prepare and fill delivery and curbside orders as needed.
  • Maintain organization in the delivery area.
  • Reviewing orders before delivery to ensure orders are complete and correct.

Vehicle/Driver
  • Responsible for cleanliness and notifying the delivery manager of preventative maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Willingness to fill in for mountain runs, if necessary.

General
  • Complete TRIFT courses as assigned?
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience dealing with customers.
  • Prior delivery experience preferred.
  • Good verbal communication and professional demeanor.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Dress and present yourself cleanly and professionally.
  • 1+ years of alcohol industry sales and customer service.

Requirements
  • 21 years of age
  • 5+ years retail industry sales and customer service
  • 2-5 years in retail store leadership or management position
  • 2 years managing teams of 10+ people
  • Basic computer, typing and mathematical skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass background check
