What You’ll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

You’ll:

  • Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
  • Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
  • Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
  • Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
  • Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
  • Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
  • Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.

What You Bring

You don’t need to know everything on day one, we’ll train you. What matters most is your service mindset and attention to detail.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred
  • Past cashier experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way
  • Past online ordering experience a plus
  • You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
