Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking talented bilingual and multilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters. Various levels of experience and certifications are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hanna interpreters and translators ensure that our standard of excellence is maintained. How do you know if you're a fit with Hanna? Simple. You have these key qualities:

Requirements
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another
  • Accept or decline appointment requests via email on time.
  • Exhibit professional behavior at all times.
  • Demonstrate time management skills by arriving at all scheduled assignments on time.

As an interpreter, you will be notified of an interpreting assignment by phone or email about two to five days in advance. Once notified, you will be able to accept or decline the assignment based upon your schedule. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on the need of the organization. The assignments are usually between 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and you may occasionally receive evening and weekend assignments. Travel will be limited, and interpreters will not be required to travel outside of their respective counties.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Interpreting opportunities will be based on assignment requirements such as certifications and experience.
  • Entry-level assignments may also be available.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • Hours Vary.

POSITION TYPE:
  • Independent Contractor

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship).
  • Must have a flexible schedule.
