Description
Studio St. Germain is a progressive, award-winning firm specializing in human-centric design—architecture that puts people at its heart. At Studio St. Germain, we are passionate about architecture both as an art and as a public good. We adhere to a humanistic philosophy where community values are integral to the design process and reflect our core belief: building to give back.
We are seeking an individual with 3–5 years of experience who is creative, proactive, interested in sustainability, and believes in environmentally and socially responsible architecture. Studio St. Germain is looking for someone with strong design skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to mission-driven projects. In this role, you will be an integral part of the design process, taking meaningful ownership of projects from inception to completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Project Management: Managing project phases seamlessly from concept through construction administration.
  • Design & Documentation: Developing design studies, layouts, presentations, and technical documentation across multiple phases of work.
  • Technical Execution: Contributing to project specifications through research, product evaluation, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with our small team to support project delivery and maintain high standards of visual communication

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is a positive, forward-thinking professional who thrives in a collaborative studio environment.
  • Education: Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M. Arch) from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Knowledge of software such as Lumion, Sefaira, and SketchUp a plus.
  • Sustainability Mindset: A clear interest in building science, along with knowledge of and commitment to Passive House, LEED, RESET Air, and Well Building.
  • Licensure: On the path to NCARB licensure or recently licensed.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills

At Studio St. Germain
Our comprehensive benefit package includes a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, and bereavement leave. We also offer a Simple IRA with a company match contribution and discretionary performance-based bonuses. Studio St. Germain is committed to professional development, and we offer reimbursement for professional licenses and exam fees.
