Psychiatrist – Inpatient Mental Health – Georgetown, DE

  • Licenses/Certifications: Medical License, Board Certified in Psychiatry preferred
  • Experience: Relevant inpatient psychiatry experience preferred

What You'll Do:
  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care to a diverse patient population
  • Manage treatment plans for anxiety, mood, personality, developmental, psychotic, trauma, and substance use disorders
  • Conduct assessments, medication management, and involuntary commitments as needed
  • Document patient care using Wellsky EMR system
  • Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in a supportive and busy inpatient environment with around 18 patients per day
What You Need:
  • Active Medical License in Delaware or eligible for licensure
  • Experience with inpatient psychiatric treatment
  • Familiarity with involuntary commitment procedures and pharmacotherapy
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
