Quick Facts: Location: Georgetown, DE Start Date: Flexible End Date/Duration: Open / ongoing Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday (no weekends, no call) Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Active BLS, Board Certification or Eligibility, DEA Experience: Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred Salary: Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance; PTO; 401(k); CME stipend What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient psychiatric care at a 99-bed hospital Manage a daily caseload averaging 18 patients Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for diverse psychiatric disorders Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including advanced practice providers and psychologists Administer pharmacotherapy and handle involuntary commitments as needed Document care using Wellsky EMR system Follow protocols for inpatient psychiatric treatment and patient safety Offer support to patients with anxiety, mood, personality, trauma, psychotic, and substance use disorders What You Need: Required: Active BLS certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry DEA license At least 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience preferred Familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy Preferred: Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently within a collaborative environment About the Assignment: This permanent position is with a leading hospital in Georgetown, Delaware, focused on providing comprehensive inpatient psychiatric services.
