Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Integrated Supply Chain Manufacturing Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining and implementing the global strategy for where to build and manufacture products for our highly complex and growing business.

This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and global market dynamics.

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in St. Louis Park, MN. Relocation will be provided for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Develop and Implement Global Manufacturing Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive global manufacturing strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and market demands.
  • Optimize Global Operations: Identify and establish optimal locations for manufacturing facilities, considering factors such as cost, logistics, market proximity, and geopolitical risks.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various departments, including R&D, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of the global supply chain strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality across all global facilities.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
  • Lean Maturity: Champion and drive Lean maturity across the enterprise with a focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Impactful Leadership: Be a strong, servant-minded leader who is focused on coaching, mentorship, team culture and professional development with an eye for building a strong talent bench.

YOU HAVE:

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering or similar field required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in operations, supply chain transformation, and/or plant leadership in Manufacturing, automotive industry a plus.
  • 3+ years demonstrated project management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with Lean Methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, and AI.
  • Ability to be an inspiring leader with a combination of analytic rigor, conceptual ability, innovation, creativity, mental flexibility and judgment.
  • Ability to engage, empower and inspire operations to achieve business results. Influence and create positive cultures by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience developing open lines of communication to continually push messages up and down in the organization.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
  • Experience working in a global and highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to travel 10% - 30% (domestic and internationally).

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:

$204,400.00 - $304,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
