PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Corporate Security Intelligence Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a global strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate internal and external threats to the organization. This role leads the corporate security intelligence function and insider threat risk program, integrating behavioral analytics, threat intelligence, and investigative capabilities to protect people, assets, and information.
This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
The role must demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and an initiative-taking approach to identifying and mitigating security risks while aligning with FME's strategic business objectives.
It requires a forward-looking leader with the ability to assess and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, build strong external partnerships, and leverage intelligence and technology to drive a comprehensive, resilient security program.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Intelligence Strategy & Executive Advisory
Design, implement, and govern a global corporate security intelligence strategy that integrates with enterprise security risk management, resilience, and business continuity objectives, while serving as a principal advisor to the VP, Corporate Security Center of Excellence on emerging threats, geopolitical risk, insider threat trends, and strategic risk implications.
All-Source Intelligence & Counterintelligence Leadership
Lead and manage a globally dispersed team of employees and contractors delivering end-to-end all-source intelligence, threat analysis, investigations, and executive-level briefings, ensuring intelligence services directly support enterprise risk decisions, operational resilience, and executive protection priorities.
Threat Intelligence & Analytical Excellence
Establish and continuously mature intelligence collection methodologies, analytical frameworks, and dissemination standards to deliver timely, high-confidence, actionable intelligence supporting global travel security, asset protection, crisis response, and business continuity decision-making at the executive level.
Insider Threat Risk Management & Investigations
As the organization matures, develop an Insider Threat Risk Management Program, including behavioral threat assessment, digital risk monitoring, case management, and complex insider investigations, while partnering with HR, Legal, ITS, Compliance, and Privacy to drive multidisciplinary risk mitigation and defensible outcomes.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Alignment
Ensure all intelligence and investigative activities comply with global privacy, labor, and data protection laws, while maintaining alignment with FME Codes, the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and defined risk appetite thresholds, benchmark program maturity against industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
Investigative Programs & Operational Oversight
Plan, direct, and execute enterprise investigative strategies and programs in accordance with VP, Corporate Security Center of Excellence directives, interpreting and applying applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and overseeing investigator training across the full spectrum of investigative techniques.
Strategy
  • Design and implement a global corporate security intelligence strategy aligned with enterprise security risk management, resiliency, and business continuity objectives.

  • Develop and oversee the Insider Threat Risk Management Program, including behavioral threat assessment, support of digital risk monitoring, and cross-functional investigations.

  • Serve as the principal advisor to VP, Corporate Security Center of Excellence on emerging threats, geopolitical risks, and insider threat trends.

All-Source Intelligence Leadership
  • Manage a team of employees and contractors responsible for delivering comprehensive all-source risk, threat, and intelligence services-including assessments, evaluations, investigations, and executive briefings.

  • Participate in joint Corporate-Business Unit working groups to evaluate and update policies, assess vendors and third-party services, and recommend software solutions that support intelligence and counterintelligence operations.

  • Lead efforts to build and continuously improve processes across the all-source intelligence and counterintelligence space, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk and security objectives.

Threat Intelligence & Analysis
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of intelligence analysts and investigators.

  • Develop and maintain intelligence collection protocols, analytical frameworks, and dissemination standards.

  • Deliver timely, actionable threat assessments to support executive protection, travel security, and resilience.

Insider Threat Risk Management
  • Oversee the design and implementation of insider threat detection tools, behavioral analytics, and case management systems.

  • Partner with HR, Legal, ITS, and Compliance to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to insider risk mitigation.

  • Lead investigations into insider-related incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and completion of corrective actions.

Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with global privacy, labor, and data protection laws in all intelligence and insider threat activities.

  • Maintain alignment with FME Codes, Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and Risk Appetite thresholds.

  • Benchmark program maturity against industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Training & Awareness
  • Designs and delivers threat awareness briefings, analytical and compliance training.

  • Delivers technical assistance on laws, regulations, and internal requirements.

Investigations
  • Accountable for planning, developing, and executing investigative programs and strategies in alignment with VP, Corporate Security Center of Excellence directives.

  • Interprets all relevant data and applies appropriate laws, orders, rules, and regulations pertaining to investigations.

  • Plans and conducts investigative operations, staff investigative requirements and oversee training of subordinate investigators in the complete spectrum of investigative techniques.

Regulatory and Industry Engagement
  • Maintains awareness of protective risk management trends and intelligence, global regulations, and propose changes to increase maturity.

Talent Development
  • Must stay current with global trends, intelligence, and regulations.

  • Potential to represent FME in public-private partnerships, industry forums, and trade groups.

  • Strives to increase level of leadership and demonstrate FME values.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Behavioral Science, or related field (master's preferred); possess an active/in-scope security clearance.

Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Threat Manager (CTM)

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

  • Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM)

  • Intelligence Community or Law Enforcement credentials

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in security management roles, with demonstrated expertise across a broad range of security and risk management domains.

  • Proven track-record in compliance programs, risk management, and incident response.

  • Experience in systems management and leading people

  • Experience managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Deep understanding of threat actor methodologies, behavioral threat indicators, and intelligence tradecraft.

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.

  • Experience with insider threat platforms, SIEM tools, and behavioral analytics.

  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed, resource-constrained, and diverse environment.
