GEOINT Time Dominant Collection Specialistoperates the revolve around time dominant or first phase GEOINT collection and analysis. The specialist performs services that support the activities that manage GEOINT collection requirements and/or the activities that support the tasks that exploit and produce GEOINT analysis for time dominant issues and topics. The specialist is capable of performing high operational tempo work as part of a team that supplies services on a rotating basis 24/7/365. The Candidate possesses skills that focus on GEOINT time-sensitive activities. The Operations Specialist Time Dominant Collections Specialist performs and manages collection activities of GEOINT based sources in support of time dominant operations.
Junior-Level:
Implementing, part of team, executing tasks. These are still developmental labor positions. Services requiring junior level support will require a person to have slightly more experience than a full entry level while performing slightly more advanced skills than per an entry level. Understands and applies more advanced concepts and processes to tasks
Mid-Level:
Implementing/Leading, ushering and executing tasks. These are positions that exhibit technical proficiency in the work and should be expected to work with minimal oversight and often lead smaller teams in their service execution. Should be fully capable of meeting most services without direction. Work products should demonstrate consistent high quality tradecraft application. Expected to assist lower level personnel in developing tradecraft skill in order to meet work objectives. Expected to collaborate with Government and other stakeholders in the performance of services. Such collaboration should provide accurate technical information that contributes to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the individual parts.
The Time Dominant Collections Specialist performs and manages collection activities of GEOINT based sources in support of time dominant operations. Skills required, but not limited to, include:
  • Previous experience utilizing GEOINT collection management information systems
  • Previous experience with GEOINT collection capabilities and methods
  • Ability to produce GEOINT products to NGA standards and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic 24/7/365 environment as a team-member
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and accuracy both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated familiarity in the functional mission areas and key intelligence issues

Skills Required:
  • Ability to produce GEOINT products to NGA standards and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as a team-member
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and accuracy both verbally and written
  • Demonstrate familiarity in the functional mission areas and key intelligence issues

Skills Desired:
  • Understanding of Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) and application of ABI methodologies
  • Previous experience utilizing GEOINT collection management information systems
  • Previous experience utilizing GEOINT analytical databases and reporting tools
  • Previous experience performing first phase GEOINT work
  • Previous experience with collection capabilities and methods

Junior-Level:
  • HS Degree
  • Min 3 combined experience

Mid-Level:
  • Some college experience
  • Min 5 combined experience

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
