Job description

The Client Services Specialist serves as the first contact for potential claimants and client companies prior to the start of Genex's Social Security Disability representation services. The specialist makes initial contact to individuals to sell and explain services while also providing excellent customer service to insure claimants understand the SSDI process and Genex's SSDI claim representation.

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Enter/process all incoming referrals into the database and review referrals for SSDI feasibility.

Complete intakes for potential new IND clients and determine if case will be accepted

Mail out 1696 packets to claimant within 24 (business) hours of receipt of referral.

Call all new referrals within 24 (business) hours to explain and sell GENEX services.

Maintain a caseload of roughly 150 claimants

Keep in constant contact with claimants and LTD representatives.

Obtain 1696 packets from at least 95% of viable referrals.

Download medical records and other essential documents from clients' database(s) for our claimants

May be required to work occasional evening hours as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required; some college preferred

At least 1-2 years of specific training in customer service and Social Security law very strongly preferred

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication and customer relations skills, ability to adhere to schedules and follow departmental procedures within set time frames, ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team.

Courteous and professional interaction with claimants, client companies, corporate personnel, and the general public. Customer service and/or claim handling experience. Must be flexible and responsive to change.
