Job description

Printpack, a privately-held packaging manufacturer with revenues in excess of $1 billion, is seeking an Associate General Counsel. This hybrid-work position will be based at our Atlanta corporate headquarters in Vinings and will report directly to the Vice President and General Counsel.
This position requires a broad business perspective and the ability to craft business-relevant legal solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to anticipate legal issues, effectively resolve legal matters, and work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives while managing legal risk.
Minimum Qualifications
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to practice in Georgia
  • Experience practicing corporate/transactional law, preferably in both firm and in-house settings

  • Provide hands-on counsel to all levels of the organization. Responsible for identifying and analyzing legal issues, drafting commercial documents, presenting clear recommendations, and ensuring legal compliance
  • Structuring, negotiating, drafting, and closing a wide variety of complex agreements with customers and vendors alike, including technology contracts, equipment purchases, services agreements, sales agreements, and the like
  • Responding promptly to legal requests from client groups and delivering timely, pragmatic, and business-focused legal advice to clients
  • Working cross-functionally with sales, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to move the business forward
  • Establishing trusted advisor relationships with the business
  • Proactively searching for ways to improve legal services to improve business
