Through patient and family centered care, MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care provides team‑based collaborative care and treatment, close to home. If you are looking to join a nationally accredited cancer care program as a board certified/board eligible Hematologist Oncologist and have the passion to provide quality care, then you should consider a career with MercyOne Genesis.

  • Competitive compensation with base guarantee ($800k years 1 & 2, year 3: $600k plus wRVU)

Qualifications
  • MD or DO

  • Unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary

Where You’ll Work

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care, accredited by the NAPBC, the NQMBC, the CoC and the ACOS, is seeking an additional BE/BC Hematologist Oncologist to join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non‑clinical staff. MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a full range of innovative treatments, technology and educational resources. We offer collaborative services for our patients such as radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics) clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. We are a community‑based hospital program; locally operated with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois.

Where You’ll Live

Comprised of 6 counties in Iowa and Illinois, the Quad Cities is the largest metropolitan area on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis. It is three hours west of Chicago and two and a half hours east of Des Moines, Iowa. The area has recently been ranked as a best place to live and is known for safe neighborhoods, short commute times and a reasonable cost of living.
