What are the 4 types of project managers?

The four main types of project managers are functional, projectized, matrix, and hybrid. Functional managers work within departments, projectized managers lead entire projects independently, matrix managers operate across departments with shared authority, and hybrid combines elements of these structures. Understanding these types helps in selecting the right management approach for construction, engineering, or technical projects like generator installations.

Can I make 100k as a project manager?

Generator project managers can potentially earn $100,000 or more annually, especially with experience, certifications, and managing large or complex projects. Salaries vary based on industry, location, and company size, with senior roles and those in high-demand regions often reaching or exceeding this level.

Can an electrical engineer be a project manager?

Yes, an electrical engineer can become a project manager, especially in fields like power generation or electrical systems where technical expertise is valuable. Transitioning often requires developing skills in project planning, leadership, and communication, and may involve obtaining certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
