Job Summary:
This position provides sales and administrative support focused on project scope and requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following.
  • Coordinate with Service Department on commissioning/start-up.
  • Ability to read and understand project specifications and plans
  • Develop scope and project requirements as related to generators and transfer switches
  • Prepare cost estimates and equipment bids
  • Distribute estimates upon request
  • Develop and follow a bid schedule and respond to customer request for bids
  • Support the unit sales representatives
  • Put together submittal documentation booklets
  • Report quotations, sales, and project schedule
  • Prepare and complete submittal, when project is awarded
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries for equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience/Education/Skills:
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school preferred.
  • Must have one to three-years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical/Electrical background preferred.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products/systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train/support team in adoption.
  • Strong communication skills, to include written, oral and active listening; clear and persuasive in negative or positive situations; asks relevant questions to get clarification; conveys thoughts and ideas in a concise manner; responds well to questions and feedback; demonstrates group participation skills.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with customers (internal and/or external) and coworkers; establishes confidence and shares knowledge with others.
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; contributes to building a positive team environment; supports everyone's efforts to succeed; recognizes accomplishments of other team members.
