Senior Data Scientist II – Generative AI / LLM Solutions
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid Preferred) | Remote (EST/CST) Considered
Duration: 6–12 Months Contract-to-Hire
Employment Type: W2 OnlyKey Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance AI/ML solutions for customer-facing applications.
  • Build, evaluate, and optimize LLM-based and RAG-powered systems.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deploy and maintain AI solutions in production.
  • Perform model evaluation, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Support production monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
  • Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI-powered products.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of total professional experience.
  • 4+ years of recent experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG implementations, evaluations, and Agentic AI technologies.
  • Experience developing customer-facing AI products.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience supporting production systems alongside software engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
