URGENT REQUIREMENT

AI Product Manager Banking & Payments

Location: Columbus, Cincinnati, or Cleveland, Ohio
Onsite Position Contract to hire

The Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of AI-enabled capabilities across banking and payments products. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where artificial intelligence can improve customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management, and digital transformation outcomes within a highly regulated financial services environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong digital product management expertise with hands-on understanding of AI, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities. You will play a key role in shaping AI product strategy, guiding delivery teams, prioritizing use cases, and ensuring AI solutions are scalable, measurable, compliant, and aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute AI product vision, strategy, and roadmaps across banking and payments platforms.
  • Partner with business, engineering, data science, risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases based on customer value, business impact, feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
  • Establish product success metrics, monitor performance, and use experimentation and feedback loops to continuously improve AI capabilities.
  • Support responsible AI governance, including risk management, audit readiness, model monitoring, privacy-by-design, and operational controls.

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, technology delivery, digital transformation, or related roles within financial services or regulated industries.
  • Strong experience delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, automation, or data-driven products from strategy through execution.
  • Deep understanding of AI product lifecycle management, including experimentation, testing, deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, design, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and security stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, delivery priorities, and measurable outcomes using Agile delivery practices.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience within banking, payments, fintech, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI quality evaluation, and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Experience implementing privacy-by-design principles, governance controls, and audit-ready AI delivery practices.
