Job Summary

Join the Team Help keep the Concessions team organized, prepared, and event-ready! As the Concessions Scheduling Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting successful Delta Center events by ensuring the right team members are scheduled in the right place at the right time. This position is responsible for building and maintaining Concessions schedules, tracking staffing levels, communicating updates, and supporting event-day staffing needs for Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth games, concerts, and other arena events. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with a large event-based team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and promote Levy's Family Values; Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive. 
  • Create, manage, and publish schedules for Concessions  team mebers based on event budget needs, staffing levels, and budget goals. 
  • Schedule regular team members, borrowed team members, nonprofit groups, and additional staffing support as needed. 
  • Partner with Concessions Managers to review staffing needs for each event.
  • Communicate shift assignments, schedule changes, and staffing updates in a timely manner and professional manner.
  • Monitor team member availability, time-off requests, call-offs, and coverage gaps. 
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled hours, attendance, no-shows, and staffing updates. 
  • Use MyStaff and other scheduling tools to build schedules, track staffing levels, and update assignments. 
  • Serve as a point of contact between team members and management for scheduling questions or concerns.
  • Assist with event check-in procedures and communicate daily assignments to team members. 
  • Help ensure schedules support labor expectations, break periods, hour limits, and department needs. 
  • Collaborate with other departments, Levy properties, and temporary staffing partners when additional staffing support is needed. 
  • Assist with monthly inventory nights, trainings, orientations, and other department scheduling needs. 
  • Complete administrative duties and additional tasks as assigned by management. 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age; 21 years of age preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, event operations, or a similar role. 
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with scheduling software or the ability to quickly learn scheduling platforms. 
  • Experience with MyStaff, When I Work, Deputy, Kronos, or similar systems is preferred. 
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer programs. 
  • Ability to quickly learn additional systems and scheduling functions. 
  • Familiarity with large-scale events, food and beverage operations, or stadium/arena environment is a plus. 
  • Ability to work on-site in an office setting. 
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
