Job Description: Resort General Manager Needed for RV Parks In and Around Estes CO, Egg Harbor WI, and Grand Island NYRV Park General Manager(s)Live and Work in the Great Outdoors! Job comes with annual salary, bonuses, ability to travel, and housing.We are looking for those who love hospitality and the outdoor lifestyle. Job Responsibilities: The General Manager reports to the Advanced Outdoor Solutions (AOS) Regional Manager.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESResort Guests:Provide our guests with the best outdoor experience of their livesMonitor check-in and future guest reservations on a daily basisMake sure all staffers interact with guests they encounter in a positive mannerResolve all guest complaintsOversee reporting of unusual incidents at the ResortEnsure guests have access to Resort rules and regulationsResort Staff:Hire departmental managers with the assistance of AOSRecruit and hire all other Resort staff and WorkCampers with the assistance of AOS and the departmental managersEvaluate all Resort staff on a monthly basis during the season and at the end of the season and more frequently as necessaryConduct departmental manager meetings daily pursuant to AOS policyConduct Resort staff meetings as needed or required by AOSCounsel and discipline staff as necessary under AOS disciplinary policyContinue to recruit staff for contingencies or to replace underperforming staffConduct and oversee training of all staff on a regular basis and new hiresMaintain a computer record of all meetings and interactions with staff in AOS platformMonitor staffing needs based on actual and anticipated Resort usageReview training with staff on a regular basis including AOS policies and procedures and the rules and regulations for the ResortWork with AOS and regional manager to retain high-achieving staffTerminate staff as necessary in consultation with regional managerFinancial Responsibilities:Assist in creation of the Resort Budget and ensure compliance with the budgetKnow your bonus goalsEnsure departmental managers know their budgeted income/expensesIncrease the profitability of the ResortEnsure accountability for all cash on a daily basis and credit card usageMonitor the reservation system, Newbook, the Point of Sale software, and inventoryInput invoices to accounting systemContractual and Regulatory Issues:Maintain all documents related to the Resort on the AOS platformKnow and understand the AOS Management Agreement for the Resort with the assistance of AOS General CounselMaintain access to all county, state and federal laws which regulate campgroundsEnsure staff members respect the chain of commandReport to AOS any communications by Owner with you or the staffEnsure staff maintain confidentiality of internal operationsConduct daily security check of the grounds and operationsEstablish liaison with local law enforcement, emergency services, and health department and maintain contact with their appropriate supervisory personnelEstablish relationship with local news media, elected leaders and chamber of commerceOversee any contracts with third-parties for services provided to the ResortAscertain and implement when necessary legal procedures for removal of guestsPrepare a Weekly Report to AOS reporting on all aspects of the resort with photographsMarketing of the Resort:Train all staff to respect the guests and to enhance the reputation of the ResortSet up procedures to solicit positive social media reports by guestsMonitor the reputation of the Resort on social media and in the communityCreate initiatives with the local community and businessesDuring the "Off Season":The General Manager position is a year-round jobEvaluate the Resort for maintenance and repairRecommend and oversee capital projects to enhance the ResortContinue to recruit prospective employees and WorkCampersPlan and schedule activities for the new yearReview and improve marketing for the ResortImprove your own skill set Additional Information: RV owner preferred.
