Position Summary:

Samyang America is seeking an Assistant Production Manager of Design to support the visual identity and creative output of our Buldak and MEP brands. This role blends design execution, content production, and rapid-response marketing, ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-moving, culturally connected environment.

You will play a critical role in maintaining the brand visuals while helping produce timely, high-impact creative across digital, social, and retail channels. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and energized by creating work that can move at the speed of culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of visual assets across Buldak and MEP marketing initiatives

  • Maintain and help evolve brand visual identity across campaigns, social content, and retail materials

  • Execute design work for digital, social, video, marketing collateral, and proof of concept designs

  • Assist in developing in-house direct response advertising and performance-driven creative

  • Collaborate on the creation of timely, culturally relevant, and viral-ready social media content

  • Support motion graphics and video-based content for social and digital channels

  • Prepare production-ready files and manage versioning for internal and external use

  • Ensure consistency and quality across all visual outputs

  • Partner with marketing and production teams to bring creative concepts to life quickly and efficiently

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience working in graphic design, photo retouching or video editing.

  • A portfolio that reflects your ability to produce content across all mediums, geared towards virality.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, motion, and digital-first design

  • Photo retouching skills

  • Experience producing assets for social media and digital advertising

  • Ability to create and adapt content quickly for timely and reactive marketing moments

  • Experience supporting brand visual identity systems across multiple formats

  • Knowledge of CPG, retail POS, and marketing production workflows is a plus

The base salary for this position is between $80,000.00 and $95,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
