Job description

We are seeking an experienced Area Coach to oversee six high-volume Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) locations throughout the Greater Cleveland Eastside market. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven multi-unit leader who excels at developing General Managers, driving operational consistency, and improving business performance across multiple restaurants.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can balance competing priorities, build strong leadership teams, and create a culture of accountability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Area Coach, you will lead multiple restaurant locations by coaching General Managers, improving operational execution, and driving sales, profitability, and team performance. You will focus on leadership development, operational excellence, and achieving key business metrics across your market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations for six high-volume QSR locations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and leadership teams.
  • Drive sales, profitability, labor management, food cost, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and guest experience.
  • Analyze restaurant performance and implement improvement plans.
  • Build leadership bench strength through recruiting, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Monitor staffing, inventory, food safety, and operational compliance.
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits and provide hands-on operational support.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience as an Area Coach, District Manager, Multi-Unit Manager, or equivalent.
  • Experience overseeing 5+ restaurant locations simultaneously.
  • Strong background in Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR); experience with nationally recognized brands is highly preferred.
  • Proven success leading through General Managers rather than managing individual restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management, labor, food cost, inventory control, and operational KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned market.

Preferred

Experience with high-volume QSR brands such as Mexican-inspired QSR, burgers, chicken, sandwiches, pizza, coffee, or fast-casual concepts.

Ideal Background

We're looking for experienced multi-unit leaders from high-volume QSR and fast-casual restaurant organizations with a proven track record of developing General Managers, improving underperforming restaurants, and driving operational excellence across multiple locations.
