Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the company's operations, including manufacturing, warehousing, purchasing, estimating, project management, and business performance. This role ensures the organization operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with corporate objectives while maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction standards. The General Manager oversees departmental leaders, drives operational excellence, manages financial performance, develops organizational strategies, and fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork across all business functions. This position serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for delivering sustainable growth and operational success.

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for manufacturing, warehousing, purchasing, estimating, project management, and other operational functions.
  • Develop and execute business strategies, operational objectives, and performance initiatives that support company growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and performance standards that ensure operational efficiency, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects to ensure customer expectations, budgets, and timelines are met.
  • Lead and manage departmental leaders, including Project Managers, CAD Detailers, Production Manager, Warehouse Manager, and other key personnel.
  • Direct recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage company budgets, financial performance, resource allocation, and operational expenditures to meet profitability goals.
  • Review and oversee project estimating activities to ensure pricing accuracy, cost controls, and successful project outcomes.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance metrics and implement strategic improvements to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and strategic business partners.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business opportunities, operational improvements, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Monitor inventory, production capacity, labor utilization, and supply chain performance to ensure efficient operations.
