Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations in alignment with ARK Hospitality's mission, vision, and core values. This role is accountable for maximizing property performance while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, employee engagement, operational excellence, and financial success.

The General Manager serves as the leader of the property and is responsible for creating a culture focused on accountability, service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Regional Director of Operations / Director of Operations and requires a strong on-property leadership presence. The General Manager should understand that hospitality is a people business and that visible leadership is critical to success.

What You'll Be Responsible For Property Leadership
  • Lead all hotel operations and departmental performance

Guest Experience

Requirements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Previous hotel management or hospitality leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving operational performance
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze property performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining employees
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Choice Hotels, Marriott, Hilton, or branded hotel experience
  • Hospitality Management degree or related education
  • Experience operating full-service or upscale hotel properties
