Golf Course Equipment Operator - Grounds Crew Thornberry Creek at Oneida - Green Bay, WI Property Overview Thornberry Creek at Oneida is the official course of the Green Bay Packers and one of Wisconsin's premier golf destinations. Located in Green Bay, WI, the property features two beautiful courses: the Championship 18-hole course and the scenic 9-hole Iroquois course. Known for its exceptional course conditions, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to excellence, Thornberry Creek provides an outstanding golf experience for players of all skill levels.

Managed by KemperSports, the property emphasizes superior service and top-tier course maintenance. Position Summary Thornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking a motivated and hardworking Golf Course Equipment Operator to join the Grounds Crew. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining specialized golf course maintenance equipment to ensure the highest level of course conditions.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and has experience with turf care and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities Operate golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, aerators, and other specialized machinery. Perform daily course maintenance tasks such as mowing greens, fairways, and roughs; bunker raking; and debris cleanup.

Assist with irrigation system operation and minor repairs as needed. Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained in proper working condition. Follow all course maintenance schedules and guidelines to uphold high-quality playing conditions.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or course issues to the supervisor. Assist with seasonal tasks, including aeration, fertilization, over-seeding, and winter preparation. Work collaboratively with the grounds crew team to execute daily maintenance operations efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment storage and maintenance facilities. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience operating golf course maintenance equipment or similar machinery preferred. Understanding of golf course maintenance practices and turf management is a plus.

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
