Job description

Retail Division Manager - Glass Installation
If you've ever walked into a service business and thought, "I could run this place better." This is your chance.
We are looking for a high-ownership operator to run and grow our Retail Glass Services division for Glass Doctor of North Texas. This role is for someone who wants to build a high-performing operation, lead a strong team, and dominate the market.
You won't just manage a department.
You will run a business inside the company.
We're looking for a competitive take-charge leader to run and grow our retail glass installation division. If you enjoy solving problems, building teams, making decisions, and winning, this role is for you.
What You'll Own
The Operation
You will control the daily operations of a fast-paced home services division.
  • Managing workflow and job completion
  • Driving technician productivity and efficiency
  • Ensuring jobs are completed on time and done right

The Team
Great operations are built by great teams.
  • Hire and develop technicians and office staff
  • Set clear expectations and hold people accountable
  • Build a culture of professionalism, ownership, and pride in workmanship

The Business
You will directly impact the success of the division.
  • Monitor revenue, margins, and operational performance
  • Improve systems, processes, and efficiency
  • Solve problems quickly and remove operational bottlenecks

The Customer Experience
We win by delivering great service.
  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service from start to finish
  • Resolve escalated issues and protect the company's reputation

The Type of Leader Who Thrives Here
You likely come from home services, trades, or service operations.
You are someone who:
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting for direction
  • Solves problems instead of complaining about them
  • Enjoys building teams and improving systems
  • Wants to win and outperform competitors

You care about results and take pride in building something that runs well.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a corporate management job.
You will:
  • Run a division like it's your own business
  • Build and lead your own team
  • Improve systems and operations
  • Directly impact revenue and profitability

If you want to own outcomes and build something great, this role gives you that opportunity.
Opportunity
Strong leaders in this role can grow into senior operational leadership as the company expands.
This Role Is NOT For
  • People who need constant direction
  • Managers who avoid hard decisions
  • People who blame others instead of fixing problems

This role is for leaders who take ownership and make things better.
