MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer-oriented Logistics Specialist to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command contract in Stafford, VA.

ManTech is responsible for assisting our Government customers to ensure that material solutions developed or acquired by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) are system engineered, integrated, interoperable, and certified to provide the warfighter with equipment required to accomplish their mission.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides general logistics support in acquisition, sustainment, and technical evaluations

  • Reviews, develops, validates, analyzes, and updates publications (Operation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical Instructions, SL-3's and Special Instructions)

  • Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies documented in the Risk Management Plan

  • Develop and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), supportability milestones, acquisition activities, and adjust Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to balance program with requirements for suitability and affordability

  • Provide assistance in the testing of product support, evaluating the results against operational requirements, and predetermined measurable metrics

  • Preparation of integrated logistics requirements plans, operations and maintenance, performance criteria, and ensuring that logistics management operations complies with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Assists in initial provisioning and fielding of new equipment to include new equipment asset management and inventory control

  • Participation in development of budgetary requirements to include annual and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of DoD Logistics Analyst experience (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree):

  • Experience with Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP)

  • General logistics support in acquisition, sustainment, and technical evaluations

  • Experience reviewing, developing, validating, analyzing, and updating publications (Operation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical Instructions, SL-3's and Special Instructions)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with long range fires and munitions

  • Familiar with risk mitigation strategies

  • Familiar with Lifecycle Logistics and Acquisition

  • Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national, and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment

Security Clearance Required:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary Work
