Job description

Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing the flow of goods and materials within the organization. This position is responsible for receiving inventory, issuing purchase orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting import operations in collaboration with brokers.  This is a hybrid work role with some remote and some in-office days.  Additionally, the ability to speak German or Spanish helpful but not required.  

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

Receive incoming inventory and verify accuracy against purchase orders.

Perform inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies.

Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records in the system.

Procurement Support

Issue and track purchase orders (POs) to vendors and suppliers.

Ensure timely delivery of goods and follow up on outstanding orders.

Coordinate with internal departments to forecast inventory needs.

Import Coordination

Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate the importation of goods.

Prepare and review import documentation to ensure compliance.

Monitor shipments and resolve any import-related issues.

General Logistics Support

Assist in optimizing warehouse operations and logistics workflows.

Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics processes.

Support reporting and analysis of logistics KPIs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.

Familiarity with import procedures and documentation.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
