What does a general litigation attorney do?

A General Litigation Attorney represents individuals or organizations in a wide range of legal disputes that may go to court, such as contract issues, personal injury claims, or business disagreements. They handle all phases of the litigation process, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal if necessary. Their work involves both advocating for clients in the courtroom and negotiating settlements outside of court.
