Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated GL Accountant to join our team. This role will support the Corporate Controller in daily operations and onsite accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger processes and be able to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Corporate Controller in managing daily accounting operations and financial reporting.

· Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations.

· Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.

· Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

· Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

· Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial information.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

· 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or related area.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
