Job Description

American Spray Foam Insulation LLC is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team in Waterbury, CT. This position focuses primarily on the preparation, removal, and cleanup of insulation materials from residential and commercial properties.

If you are someone who doesn't mind physical labor, enjoys working with your hands, and wants a role with lots of room for growth, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Insulation Removal: Safely remove old, damaged, or outdated insulation (including fiberglass, cellulose, and old spray foam) from attics, crawlspaces, and walls.
  • Site Preparation & Cleanup: Set up protective coverings before jobs and thoroughly clean up debris, dust, and materials after project completion to ensure a spotless job site.
  • Equipment Operation: Use vacuums, hand tools, and basic demolition equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Team Support: Assist lead installers and spray foam technicians with loading/unloading trucks and staging materials.
  • Safety Adherence: Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, safety glasses, and protective suits, and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No prior insulation experience required—we will train the right person!
  • Ability to handle a physically demanding workload, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces).
  • Comfortable working in environments that can be dusty, hot, or cold depending on the season.
  • Reliable transportation to the job site or shop in Waterbury, CT.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive team-player attitude.
