This position offers you the flexibility of a fully remote work setting from the comfort of your home, allowing for personalized and adaptable work hours. Whether you choose to work on a full-time basis (more than 30 hours per week) or a part-time basis (more than 5 hours per week), we support a schedule designed to meet your personal needs while serving our clients effectively. You will be provided with an easy-to-use counseling platform that streamlines video consultations and minimizes administrative burdens.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary duties will include:

• Delivering compassionate and ethical mental health counseling via secure video conferencing, creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Conducting thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's goals and aspirations.
• Facilitating the development of practical coping, problem-solving, and communication skills to empower clients to navigate life's challenges effectively.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and minimal paperwork within our counseling software, allowing you to focus more on client care and less on administration.

Your clientele will primarily consist of stable adults facing low-acuity mental health issues. This includes individuals seeking assistance with stress management, anxiety, relationship challenges, and general emotional support. By focusing on low-acuity cases, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful interventions that promote mental health awareness and resilience.

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, allowing for independent practice without supervision.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong command of computer technology to navigate counseling platforms and video tools smoothly.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection to facilitate seamless virtual consultations.

While not mandatory, prior experience in virtual counseling, especially with a focus on adult clients, is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth best practices and an understanding of remote engagement techniques can bolster your ability to connect authentically with clients.
