Job description

The Mt. Lebanon School District is actively seeking individuals to join its Substitute Cafeteria Worker pool.
Substitutes provide support to the Food Services Department team on an as-needed basis when regular employees are absent. Substitutes may serve in day-to-day, short-term, or long-term assignments, and locations include the High School, middle schools, and elementary schools. Shifts vary in length between 3.5 and 6 hours per day. 
Advanced scheduling often available.
Rate: $15.10 per hour for the 2025-2026 school year.
No experience necessary, but general knowledge of food and customer service, including the safe handling of perishable and non-perishable foods, is helpful.
This is a good opportunity to make your own casual work schedule, with daytime assignments.
