Job description

Advancing assembly position helps or works independent of others with specific detailed direction, handling, positioning, and fitting metal products, used for modular buildings and equipment enclosures, working on shop floor, or outdoors on grounds and work pods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Understands and can provide assembly assist at any assembly sequence level, accomplishing all basic tasks with limited supervision.

-Positions a limited listing of metal products according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following drawings, accurately reads taped measurements.

-Understands and recognizes basic construction principles, square, level, and plumb.

-Fastens limited listing of metal products together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.

-Assists with repairs and rework of basic items as directed prior to building or enclosure shipment.

-Other duties as assigned.

-Endeavors to create a workplace environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.

Education/ Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule:

6:00am - 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday and up to 10 hours on Fridays.
