Job description

Location: 22193 BUNDY CANYON RD, WILDOMAR, CA, 92595 JOB SUMMARY:The position provides managerial and administrative leadership to operate one franchise-ownedrestaurant in the Lake Elsinore area under the direction of the General Manager. This is the 2ndperson in charge reporting to the General Manager and, when the General Manager is absent, isthe top manager present in the designated restaurant and is accountable for the restaurant andoperations at those times. This person directs the work of team members, both managers andcrew.

With the General Manager, responsible for managing the restaurant, including oversightover all store operations from production to guest service areas; direct the work of teammembers, both managers and crew2. Assist General Manager as necessary to ensure restaurant meets performance expectations3

Coach and role model McDonald's guest and service experience behaviors, ensuring end-toendconsistency in service delivery, especially with crew members4. Assist General Manager with designated people processes, including but not limited to: (a)recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training managers and crew; (b) assessing the workof crew and providing performance feedback/evaluation and assigning training/developmentplans; (c) preparing recommendations to support hiring, and employee status changes suchas promotions or terminations; (d) conducting performance reviews for all crew, and (e) makinghiring decisions in special situations approved by General Manager5. Provide an environment that fosters continuous employee development, learning andteamwork; set the example through coaching and personal development planning6.

Analyze restaurant labor and crew capability needs for crew under direction of General Manager;prepare and set weekly schedules, including days and hours of work, for all crew; ensure schedulesare legally compliant and meet company practices7. Manage inventory levels to meet operating needs and budget; prepare inventory forecastsand ordering recommendations for General Manager approval, and ensure related activitiesare coordinated (e.g., receiving deliveries); perform trend analysis on food costs to informplanningADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assist General Manager with Business Planning and Community Engagement as may berequired2

Ensure food safety is always maintained and in accordance with procedures; ensure teammembers understand their role and are up to date on training and procedures3. With the General Manager, perform and assign maintenance activities to ensure restaurantmeets or exceeds standards of excellence (proactive planning, cleanliness, procedures);collaborates with General Manager to ensure coverage at all times and troubleshooting emergencies4. Assist General Manager with monitoring and implementing legal compliance measures in therestaurant5.

Appraise team members' (both managers and crew) productivity and efficiency for thepurpose of recommending promotion, termination, or other change in status to GeneralManager6. Work with team members (both managers and crew) in the operation of the restaurant onas needed basis, often concurrent with performing managerial duties7.
