Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Vertiv is currently looking to bring a driven General Assembler onto our Switchgear team to assist in the development of our Integrated Solution product line. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented leader and technically proficient. We are building a motivated team of technicians who will produce a quality product for some of the most prestigious clients in the world. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all aspects of assembly of a designed product. 
  • Build an assembly with basic torquing applications 
  • Use basic hand tools safely 
  • Follow verbal and written instructions in a documented Standard Operating Procedure 
  • Assist with the fast pace and volume targets needed to be successful.  
  • Take an active role in business development and expansion. 
  • Complete on-the-job and classroom trainings related to assembling product safely and effectively. 
  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Currently pursuing or completed Associates Degree in an applicable field (Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, etc.)preferred. 
  • 1-2 years experience successfully working in an assembly environment, 
  • Ability to safely and effectively follow written and verbal instructions.
  • This position may require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a production environment where protective equipment is required. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Exposure to metal materials, sharp edges, and noise from production machinery. 
  • Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
