The Machine Operator is focused on calibrating machine/equipment for the desired quality and specification of metal and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Job responsibilities include:
- Perform general aluminum fabrication, assembly, and packaging using hand and power tools.
- Set up and operate equipment to drill, cut, and prepare aluminum components per work orders and schedules.
- Measure, weigh, label, and pack materials according to shipping requirements, ensuring proper protection and accuracy.
- Inspect products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Read and interpret drawings, labels, and work instructions; complete basic documentation using shop floor systems or RF equipment.
What We Are Looking For.
- Experience using power tools and reading a tape measure (to 1/32").
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math (fractions/decimals).
- Experience operating or willingness to learn equipment such as pallet jacks (manual/motorized) and cranes (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle small and large components safely.
- Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with team members.
