What you’ll do

  • Provide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of residential, commercial, and industrial generators both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends and holidays as directed
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner
  • Travel around local area for service work while being on call and rotating first to call responsibility
  • Maintain parts and service inventory within company vehicle
  • Create and submit reports for service work completed and project updates

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of mechanical experience with power generation, automotive, or diesel engines
  • Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operations
  • Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams
  • Preventative maintenance and service experience with ability to travel locally
  • Valid driver's license
