???? The Role
As a Radioisotope Installation Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting CDL’s CardioNavix HUB operations. You will be responsible for the installation, removal, and management of Rb-82 generators within the CardioGen82 infusion system, ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance at every step.
This role operates with a high level of autonomy and requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
????️ What You’ll Be Doing⚙️ Generator Installation & System Operation
- Perform installation and removal of Rb-82 generators within CardioGen82 infusion systems
- Operate infusion equipment safely during installation, removal, and quality control processes
- Manage radioisotopes in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with NRC and state regulatory requirements
- Follow ALARA principles in all handling of radioactive materials
- Prepare spent generators for shipment and ensure compliance with carrier regulations
- Complete all necessary documentation for transport and return (including FedEx requirements)
- Perform and document all required quality control procedures
- Assist in troubleshooting generator or system performance issues
- Maintain knowledge of hot lab equipment and QC standards
- Partner with Clinical Applications and operations teams to support HUB activity
- Assist with in-services, training, and operational support as needed
- Maintain professional communication with internal teams and field staff
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
- Ensure all installations and removals meet operational and safety standards
- Work the hours necessary to complete installations and QC processes properly

- Strong background in Nuclear Cardiology / Cardiac PET imaging
- Hands-on experience with CardioGen82 infusion systems or similar hot lab environments
- Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Willingness to travel nationwide as needed
