This candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and service of residential and commercial standby generator systems. This role requires experience with gas piping, plumbing systems, and job site safety. Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing and gas piping systems for standby generators
  • Perform gas line installations, pressure testing, and final connections
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and gas piping systems
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and installation requirements
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with electrical and installation teams to complete generator projects from start to finish
  • Train and mentor helpers and apprentices as needed
  • Maintain organized job sites, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • 2+ years plumbing experience required
  • Experience with gas piping and gas line installations preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
