Description

Job Summary: The Server is primarily responsible for delivering hospitality and extraordinary service to guests dining in the restaurant. This position is also responsible for cleanliness and safety of the dining and employee areas of the property.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service expectations.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
  • Take orders, serve dining guests, and process payment.
  • Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guests' needs.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
  • Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
  • Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine).
  • A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 30 lbs.).
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Food Handler Certification.
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
