Job description

CHOPPER/GEL COAT OPERATOR
ROTATING SHIFT
5:00 am- 5:30 pm, mandatory overtime as needed
$22.58 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Applies the proper coat of glass and resin to molds or product according to specific guidelines and instructions
  • Adjusts spray gun to ensure adequate wetting of glass, proper weight of resin and glass, thickness, and application of material in rollable condition
  • Maintains accurate count of ware sprayed, flow of product through work – process, and adhere to standard operating procedures and quality specifications
  • Maintains work area e.g. cleans up, keeps materials, equipment etc. in clean working condition
  • Practices and follows all required safety regulations
  • Performs all duties as assigned by supervision
  • Repetitive heavy lifting
  • Applies glass and resin to molds/shells
  • Equipment designed for right-hand use

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires working knowledge of plastic application and spray equipment
  • Computer skills required
