GEICO is seeking a Director, IA Onboarding Experience. This role willbe responsible forthe development and implementation of a seamless, integrated, and engaging onboarding, licensing and acclimation strategy that aligns with IA tenants of easy, flexible,and reliable.The successful candidate will be innovative,operatewith a sense of urgency, effectively manage a broad set of stakeholders, anddemonstratea track recordfor developing a data informed and tech enabled solutions that prioritize the agent experience and organizational goals.

This leadership role will be critical to ensuring a seamless new agent experience and successful first impression of GEICO fromdayone of the agent engagement.You will design a best-in-class structured approach to all that is encompassed in agent readiness to write business with GEICO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernize Agency Onboarding Experience: Develop vision, strategy and roadmap for GEICO onboarding and acclimation

  • Stay Current on Industry Trends: Keep up to date with advancements and conduct analysis toidentifytrends, opportunities to improve agency onboarding experience.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and functional leads on key processes including pre-boarding activities, technology and laptop set-up, training, and orientation, to ensure alignment between solutions and organizational goals

  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Utilizeanalytics and feedback mechanisms to continuously measure and improve learning effectiveness, adjust programs, anddemonstrateimpact on keyobjectives- agency engagement, performance, and retention.

  • Create Scalable Solutions: Design onboarding and acclimation processes and solutions that are scalable and adaptable across various agent types,hierarchiesand deployment

  • People Leadership: Sets goals, provides direction, and provides coaching and feedback tohelpteam members (direct/matrix) develop and achieve results. Directs the activities of the Help Desk team toward just in time outreach, proactive vs. reactive and listening post/feedback look for continual improvement.

  • Strategic Transformation Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for transitioning from traditional onboarding approaches to a modern, agent experience centric model that enhances engagement and retention and accelerates agency acclimation and impact, while ensuring buy-in from all levels of the organization to facilitate smooth transitions to new practices.

  • Compliance Management: Keep abreast of legal requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

  • While core responsibilities will focus onboarding and licensing: Partnership across sales enablement strategy to deliver in class agent experience is imperative.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing and transforming modernizing new hire onboarding programs in dynamic large organizations

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to measure and enhance program effectiveness
    Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with ability to work cross functions and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Detail-oriented and able tomaintainhigh levelsof accuracy in documentation.

  • Creative and forward-thinking mindset

  • Strong program management skills

  • Demonstrate strong agility and bias for action

  • Knowledge of HRIS and other commonly used onboarding software.


Annual Salary

$121,975.00 - $229,600.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
