Summary of Job Duties:This position is responsible for administering TABE assessments, official GED assessments, Readiness assessments, and other assessments when applicable (i.e. NHA, PSI, AR TMU/ Headmaster, etc.), student records data entry (student data, attendance, assessments), maintaining all student records, student orientation, and completing retention activities as assigned. The Test Proctor is also responsible for administering tests to off-site locations including partnering agencies when applicable and obtaining/maintaining test proctoring certifications annually or as specified by the testing agency. The Test Proctor will serve as the Lead Test Proctor and official back-up to the Lead Paraprofessional including entering data in and monitoring the LACES system, student ABE, ASE, IET, and ELL intake, and other Paraprofessional duties as assigned.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Office Machines: copier, fax, and phone. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Word and Excel), LACES, and DRC.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

• Associate of Arts degree (A. A.) from an accredited College or university; or a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Adult Education program or Literacy Council in Arkansas.
• A minimum of 5 years experience working in as a Pearson Vue trained Test Proctor., TABE Tester, Official GED & Ready exam Test Proctor.
• A minimum of 5 years of Paraprofessional experience.
• Must be able to be Pearson Vue certified within 90 days from date of hire.
• Must be skilled in Microsoft Office 365 Applications, LACES, and DRC Insight programs.
• Must be able to multitask and function in a high paced environment.
• May be required to work at both campuses when applicable.

Salary Information:

$43,000- $45,000
