Description The Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Basic Skills Mathematics Instructors to teach Adult Basic and Secondary Education in the Student Success Center which includes: GED/HiSET test preparation GCC Adult High School Diploma Concurrent High School Credit Recovery/Advancement Classes Basic Skills College Readiness Examples of Duties Coach basic skills students in mathematics, Create and teach short-term, small group High School Equivalency preparation classes such as basic algebra, geometry, and statistics, Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in mathematics OR Bachelor's degree in mathematics AND Master's in education The minimum qualifications list for credit and noncredit disciplines can be found at: https://www.glendale.edu/about-gcc/employment/minimum-qualifications Additional Information Hourly Range ; $79.98 - $90.60 Benefits Robust and comprehensive health and welfare package for eligible employees, which may include: Medical, vision, and dental plans for employee and eligible dependent(s) Basic life/AD&D insurance Supplemental life/AD&D insurance Various optional insurance plans (short term disability, accident, critical care, and hospital) Flexible spending account Defined-benefit retirement plan participation through CalPERS or CalSTRS Optional 403(b) and 457(b) retirement plans Paid sick leave Paid vacation (classified staff and administrators) Paid District holidays Wellness Program (health, nutrition, exercise activities and workshops) Adjunct Benefits are available on the HR Benefits page.
