Job description

Position: OB/GYN Sonographer

Summary:

Are you a skilled sonographer looking for more than just a job? At Premier Ultrasound, we’re all about empowering employees and building a new standard of patient care. We’re a rapidly growing, tech-forward ultrasound company dedicated to delivering the highest quality imaging services!

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer for a Per Diem position (as needed, 8+ hours weekly) in Silver Springs, Maryland who will report to our Clinical Regional Manager.

Credentials:

  • RDMS in OB/GYN (Required)
  • 1-2 years of experience post-RDMS (preferred)
  • 2 years of OB/GYN experience
  • GE Voluson experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Viewpoint reporting software is a plus

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations according to ordering physician’s requisition
  • Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings
  • Explain the procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner to ensure their understanding
  • Uphold safety, privacy, and infection control standards
  • Continuing education to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques
