Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Bolster digital technology needs through infrastructure architecture and guide multiple software projects as project leader and data engineering subject-matter expert (SME). Contribute to highly complex software projects to develop a dynamic machine learning development environment and to support clinical research and co-development collaborations. Develop technical plans and solutions for development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions intended for hospital care area and research settings. Work directly with engineers, researchers, and clinical customers to support implementations at pilot sites and internal deployment environments. Maintain and execute multiple projects simultaneously. Participate in the technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction. Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current versus future state ensuring a cohesive architecture viewpoint. Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level. Participate in the Data Governance Council. Work with development and delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. Lead Technical effort during consulting and customer advisory services with GE HealthCare customers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related. Eight (8) years of experience in data integration within a healthcare setting. Work experience to include: Two (2) years of experience machine learning/AI tools to include Databricks, Airflow, Data factory; Five (5) years of experience using relational database applications including SQL; Five (5) years of experience using virtual machine systems to include: VMWare, or HyperV; Five (5) years of experience supporting complex data storage and retrieval projects; Kubernetes and Cloud architecture and Cloud deployments; Python, Docker Environments, HL7, or FHIR; and Airflow, or Data factory to manage data workflows. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement. Candidate may work remotely 2 days per week, within 50 miles of company location in Waukesha, WI.
