Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely drive, maneuver, and control manual or electric pallet jacks to transport heavy items and bulk inventory across the facility. [1, 2]
- Stocking & Replenishment: Unload incoming trucks, sort materials, and stock inventory in designated racks, shelves, or bulk storage areas. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Order Picking & Staging: Retrieve products and build pallets for outbound shipping or production according to pick sheets or voice-directed systems. [1]
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, assist with audits, and report discrepancies. [1, 2]
- Safety Compliance: Inspect pallet jacks for defects prior to use, properly wrap and secure pallets for safe transit, and strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines. [1, 2]
