Essential Responsibilities
  • Utilize various tools to de-burr, planish, grind and polish the product
  • Work from complex product drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
  • Adherence to Operator Acceptance Procedures (OAP)
  • Inspect finished product and identify defects
  • Assembly of details on parts utilizing various tools
  • Set-up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot all tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
  • Utilize inspection gauging on parts and run first piece inspection of parts
  • Maintains accurate work records
  • Recognizes process variation, adjusts accordingly while maintaining compliant work practices, and consistently produces conforming hardware
  • Ability to be flexible to support team's goals (duties, hours, and overtime)
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with others
  • Follow and promote safe work practices.
  • Support LEAN initiatives.
  • Lift light to medium weight material in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and/or flexible work positions
  • Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 Months-1 year experience with fabrication techniques and machinery
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with simple machine and tool operations
  • Understand how to identify and effectively use a variety of power and hand tools.
  • Read, understand and utilize procedures, detailed computerized build plans, and basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to perform precise and detailed work.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Follow and promote safe work practices.
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
