TE Wire & Cable is highly regarded as the industry leader and has earned a well-founded reputation for providing high-quality thermocouple wire & cable products with short lead times and competitive prices

More specifically the Taping Machine Operator:

  • Sets up reels of wire into the payoff stands and empties reel into the takeup
  • Laces wire through the machine-oven-capstan spark tester and onto the takeup reel.
  • Loads tapes onto the taping heads and drains wire when applicable per job requirement.
  • Sets oven controllers if applpicaple to the required temperatures per specification.
  • Starts machine and checks tape lay. Sets spark tester at specification voltage. Runs to required footage.
  • Maintains quality satandards and runs machines at specification speeds.
  • Make all necessary repairs to any faults or damaged material per specifications.

Requirements:

  • Adhere to safety standards
  • Basic math skills of addition and subtraction
  • No attendance issues
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Ability to pass post-offer company paid physical/drug screen and background check

Available shift:

  • 3rd shift 11:30PM- 8:00AM

Some Manufacturing / Production experience needed, will train the right candidate!

Qualifications:We require 1-2 years of experience. Operators need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
