Interventional Cardiologist Physician

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, NO CALL, NO STRUCTURAL CASES

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a dynamic team in a thriving healthcare setting in Southwest Georgia. This opportunity is located in a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital, supported by a robust team of healthcare professionals, including board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners. No STEMI call or structural cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including PCI, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker insertions.
  • Split time equally between the clinic and cath lab, with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
  • Participate in a call rotation of 7 days per month, focusing on medical/therapeutic cardiology.
  • Engage in teaching by precepting medical students and residents.

Qualifications:

  • Completion or near completion of an interventional cardiology fellowship.
  • Board-certified or board certification eligible in cardiology.
  • Eligible for a Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
