Position Overview
Spiral Solutions & Technologies, Inc. (SS&T) is seeking Communications Systems for Exercise and Training Events Support personnel to support the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessment Directorate (J7).
The Communications Systems for Exercise and Training Events Support Team Member supports USSTRATCOM/J7 collective training, exercises, wargames, and real-world event preparation through planning, configuration, operation, maintenance, testing, and user support for audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems. Personnel in this role provide technical communications support to the Joint Training and Exercise Control Center (JTECC), Directorate conference rooms, and associated training environments in support of command mission requirements.
Security Clearance Requirements
This position supports classified programs and requires access to classified systems and material. All contractor personnel must be United States citizens and possess a Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information, Nuclear Command and Control/Extremely Sensitive Information, and Special Access Program access prior to commencing work.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Define, plan, and configure automation and communications systems for exercises and training.
• Operate communications systems during training, exercises, and real-world event preparation.
• Support users with audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems during training, exercises, and real-world event preparation.
• Prepare and update communications data for all training events and scenarios.
• Coordinate, schedule, maintain, test, and configure equipment systems of the Joint Training and Exercise Control Center and Directorate conference rooms.
• Maintain configuration management documentation for communications systems in the JTECC and USSTRATCOM/J7 spaces.
• Provide JECG augmentation during training, exercises, and real-world event preparation.
• Provide communications facilitators and role players, as required.
• Provide management of laptop computers, requiring Security+ certification.
• Support operation and user assistance across applicable systems and equipment including secure and non-secure telephone equipment, Defense Red Switch Network, audio recorder, enhanced Communications Console, AMX video display unit, PLANAR video wall, DICES audio controller, GOLD, JWICS, GCCS-J, VOIP terminals, STEN, NPES, and/or Joint Integrated Missile Defense Missile Warning Training System.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of detailed demonstrated experience operating on one or more of the following communications systems and/or equipment types:
? Secure and non-secure telephone equipment,
? Defense Red Switch Network,
? Audio recorder,
? Enhanced Communications Console,
? AMX video display unit,
? PLANAR video wall,
? DICES audio controller,
? GOLD, JWICS, GCCS-J, VOIP terminals,
? STEN,

? Joint Integrated Missile Defense Missile Warning Training System (JIMDTS)
• At least 5 years of experience in Nuclear Command, Control and Communications operations, including MAJCOM-level experience operating audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems and equipment.
• Command, operations center, or battle staff experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Security+ certification for laptop management responsibilities.
• Experience supporting communications systems in USSTRATCOM, airborne command post, National Airborne Operations Center, or other National-level or MAJCOM-level operations center environments.
• Experience supporting JTECC operations, JECG augmentation, or communications support for collective training and exercise events.
• Experience operating communications systems in support of Nuclear Command, Control and Communications mission requirements.
