GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Gatehouse Security Guard. We're seeking experienced, detail-driven security professionals with proven gatehouse and access control experience who are confident working with technology in a professional security environment. As a Gatehouse Security Guard, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries while maintaining secure access to the property.

This role requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently operate security systems, surveillance technology, and reporting platforms. **Previous gatehouse, outdoor access control, or trucking gate security experience REQUIRED** Responsibilities: Perform gatehouse and access control duties, including verifying IDs, visitor credentials, and site authorization Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and site activity to identify irregularities and respond appropriately Maintain a professional and visible presence while enforcing site policies and access procedures Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access Utilize technology platforms, access control systems, and reporting tools with accuracy and confidence Produce clear, detailed incident reports and daily activity logs Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security standards and professionalism Collaborate with site leadership to uphold GardaWorld's high standards of service What's in it for you: Site Location: Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA Set schedule: Full-time, Evenings and/or Overnights, weekends required Competitive hourly wage of $18.50 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Qualifications of a Gatehouse Security Guard: Previous gatehouse, access control, concierge security, or truck gate security experience required Strong proficiency and comfort with technology, including surveillance systems, access control software, and computer-based reporting platforms Minimum 2-3 years of professional security, military, or law-enforcement experience Exceptional situational awareness and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing Proven ability to remain alert and composed throughout long or routine shifts Professional presence and strong customer service skills Active Driver's License strongly preferred Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Strong report writing skills Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement, gatehouse, or access control experience - even better
